  • Girl Scout PJ & Movie Event – The Grinch – (Grades K-12; Nov. 17, Multiple Locations) Join us for a Girl Scout-exclusive showing of the new Grinch movie across the council!
  • Fossils in Iowa – (Grades K-8; Sept. 29, Rockford) Fall is a great time to enjoy the outdoors at Floyd County Conservation as you explore on this “blast from the past” fossil-focused day.
  • London 2019 – (Grades 9-12; July 9-15, 2019) There’s still time to register for this amazing adventure to London next year!

Summer camp may be over, but there are still plenty of great opportunities to explore the outdoors and check out our camp properties over the fall and winter months! Be sure to check out the events calendar as they’re added in the coming months.

Program Credits (Munch Money, Cookie Dough, and Juliette Program Credits) Expire September 15!

Don’t forget – Program Credits expire on September 15, 2018! From easy membership renewal and programs, to travel and awesome items from our local GSGI shops and online, there are tons of ways your Girl Scouts can spend these hard-earned program credits! Get Ready for Fall - Renew by September 30 for a VIP Membership Card

The new Girl Scout year starts on October 1! Make sure all of the girls and adults in your troop have renewed their memberships and are ready for a fantastic new year. All members who renew by September 30 will be mailed a VIP membership card, which will also unlock exclusive shop deals at certain times throughout the year.

Fill Out Your Troop Catalog Update Form

The new year is approaching! Be sure to fill out the Troop Catalog Update Form on our website to let us know about your troop this year, like your meeting details or a description of the activities your troop loves to do!

From a rolling start date (anytime starting in September), to instant incentives for girls AND volunteers, and more. Your Girl Scout Shop

Super Saturday - September 15

All Girl Scouts of Greater Iowa shops will be open on Saturday, September 15 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. – it’s the perfect time for some last-minute purchases to use up Program Credits, or stock up on supplies for the year!

Fall Hours Return September 4

After Labor Day, all Leadership Centers will remain open until 5:00 p.m. on Fridays! Each Leadership Center will also remain open until 6:00 p.m. one day per week (Council Bluffs on Mondays, Des Moines on Thursdays, Mason City on Tuesdays, and Sioux City on Wednesdays).
